REMA Tip Top Zambia was established in 2012. The humble start-up had a 120 square metre premises with a focus on the REMA Tip Top Industrial program and conveyor belt splicing services. Building a strong presence in any market requires skilled, knowledgeable people who are passionate about what they do and their belief in the brand they represent. With sixteen of the original employees heading for their tenth anniversary with the branch, the vision to build a successful business is a passion shared by all its employees.

By identifying a clear strategy, the course as set and the team moved into a 800 square metre facility in 2016. This allowed more inventory to be held in-country reducing lead times and thereby making REMA Tip Top Zambia a favourable supplier of consumables and service. The product range was steadily increased and various opportunities to market products were identified that could confidently be sold and backed by a technical on-site  presence.
2018 was full steam ahead with the commissioning of two autoclave chambers and a boiler on the newly established  2800 square metre site where REMA Tip Top Zambia is currently situated. Product specific warehousing with cold rooms, belt slitting table and rubber lining teams allowed REMA Tip Top to increase their product offering steadily as they kept up with end user requirements and product trends, while simultaneously increasing the REMA Tip Top footprint in the DRC.

REMA Tip Top Zambia has an in-country stock holding of over 4500 m of multi-ply textile reinforced and steel cord reinforced conveyor belting and 1000 m² of rubber sheeting, with all related consumables and tooling. This strategy reduced lead times considerably and thus REMA Tip Top Zambia can deliver to most sites within 24 hours. New product additions include a comprehensive range of Remaroll idlers, which consist of rollers and frames, belt scrapers, hand-built hoses and material processing applications.
